Sprague will stay one-way in the Valley

The first numbers are in for Spokane Valley. Proposition 1, which would have changed Sprague and Appleway back to two-way streets, is losing with an overwhelming 82 percent no vote. The incumbents seem to be carrying the night, but the race between Ben Wick and Marilyn Cline is a toss-up. Both candidates have just over 49 percent of the vote. Only 20 votes separate the two. Late-arriving ballots will decide that race. Read the rest of Nina Culver’s blog post here.
