A ban on indoor wood burning was lifted Tuesday after air quality returned to the good level.

A stage 2 ban on all wood burning was imposed Monday morning after air quality deteriorated and was approaching an unhealthful level for sensitive persons.

National Weather Service forecasters said stable conditions will return today, and pollution levels could rise again through Friday morning before a new set of storms arrives to provide ventilation.
