Not a good week. Let’s just leave it at that. Wasn’t focused, didn’t write hard, got out-hit on the keyboard. After watching the film of my picks, though, we know what happened. We can fix it. It’s time to move on. As always, the listed line is for your entertainment purposes only. All games Saturday. Arizona at Colorado (Arizona by 11): The Buffs realistically have just one more chance for a Pac-12 win. This game. They’ll get close. Arizona, 38-28. Washington at USC (USC by 12.5): Some teams just match up better with others. The Trojans will win, but it should be tight. USC, 42-35. Oregon State at California (Cal by 9.5): See above statement about Washington/USC game. Good time for a Beaver upset. OSU, 24-21. UCLA at Utah (Utah by 7): The Bruins have befuddled me all year. They’ve befuddled their fans too. And they’ll probably mess with both of us again. Utah, 28-24. Stanford at Oregon (Stanford by 3.5): Before I make this pick, I would like to know how long the grass is in Stanford Stadium. That long? Wow. Stanford, 49-42. Arizona State at Washington State (ASU by 12.5): The Sun Devils will not see the sun this Saturday, I’m pretty sure of that. After spending all day in the cold, they’ll have to go play in it. Will it help the Cougars pull an upset? ASU, 30-24. Last week: 4-2 overall, 2-4 vs. spread; Season: 56-15 overall, 39-25 vs. spread.
