In brief: Chiefs’ Uher may miss two weeks

Hockey: The Spokane Chiefs confirmed that forward Dominik Uher, who was injured after scoring the seventh goal in an 8-1 romp of Everett on Sunday, could miss two weeks with an upper-body injury after crashing into the boards.

Everett’s Lucas Grayson, who received a boarding major for the incident, was suspended four games by the Western Hockey League.

Two Chiefs have been suspended for three games apiece this season after major penalties, although in both instances the opposing player wasn’t injured.

Sunday was also the last game played by Tyler Maxwell, Everett’s all-time leading goal scorer. Maxwell, 20, asked for a trade and was sent home.
