3-car crash near Clayton kills one
A three-car crash in Stevens County near Clayton left one person dead Friday.
The identities of the deceased and others involved have not been released.
The crash occurred at 5:20 p.m. on northbound U.S. Highway 395 at Williams Valley Road, according to the Washington State Patrol. The driver who authorities say caused the crash died at 5:55 p.m.
The crash blocked the road for about an hour, and traffic was rerouted through Clayton.
Details surrounding the crash were not available Friday night; WSP did not say if others involved in the crash were injured or what caused it.
