Hit a wall last week. Hit it hard. I’m afraid I’ve fallen and can’t get up. We’ll try to make amends this week. But no promises. As always, the listed line is for your entertainment purposes only. All games Saturday. Washington at Oregon State (UW by 2): The unknowns in this game are too important to make an accurate pick. The dart says … UW, 24-21. Colorado at UCLA (UCLA by 11): The Bruins have played better at home. The Buffs have momentum off first conference win. UCLA, 31-21. USC at Oregon (Oregon by 15.5): This is the best game of the day and one of the hardest to figure. Oregon, 50-35. Arizona at Arizona State (ASU by 11): Rivalry games are usually close, right? Not in this case. ASU, 42-28. California at Stanford (Stanford by 19): Rivalry games are usually close, right? Yes, they are. Stanford, 35-27. Utah at Washington State (Utah by 3.5): Paul Wulff has compared Utah’s defense to Cal’s. That’s not a good sign. Utah, 17-14. Last week: 2-4 overall, 1-5 vs. spread; Season: 58-19 overall, 40-30 vs. spread.
