Lewis carries North Idaho to victory

PABLO, Mont. – Keon Lewis and game highs of 21 points and six assists Thursday night while leading North Idaho to an 80-71 win over the host Salish Kootenai Bison in nonconference men’s basketball.

Lewis hit 8 of 12 field goals and 4 of 4 free throws as the Cardinals improved to 4-0.

Michael Middlebrooks added 13 points and a game-high 12 rebounds for NIC, which finished with a 47-25 advantage on the boards.

The Bison finished 10 of 32 on 3-point attempts.
