Robber takes cash in a bag from movie theater
An armed robber used a black handgun to hold up the Village Center Cinema in Airway Heights late Sunday.
The robber stuffed money into a grocery sack he had brought with him and fled out of the theater about 10:30 p.m. No one was injured, Spokane County sheriff’s deputies said.
The robber was described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-10 and medium build. He was wearing a tan jacket and black ski mask.
