Pac-12 football picks

The penultimate week of picks was also a break-even week of picks. When you’re already on the winning side, that’s OK. At least we’ll finish with a winning record. As always, the listed line is for your entertainment purposes only. All games Saturday unless noted. Colorado at Utah (Utah by 20.5): This is the kickoff to rivalry week? OK, it can only get better. … Utah 21-7. California at Arizona State (ASU by 5.5): The Bears are playing better than the Sun Devils, but ASU has more at stake. ASU 31-28. Oregon State at Oregon (Oregon by 28): The poor Beavers. USC went out last week and poked the Duck. You don’t poke the Duck. Oregon 54-24. Louisiana-Lafayette at Arizona (UA by 14): This is in the middle of rivalry week? Lafayette 34-28. Notre Dame at Stanford (Stanford by 7): The Cardinal are getting healthy and have a point to make. Maybe 40 of them. Stanford 40-24. UCLA at USC (USC by 14): I have been following this rivalry since the 1960s. When the Bruins have the Rose Bowl at stake, they lose. In a sense, it’s at stake this week. USC 35-24. Washington State at Washington (UW by 8): If the Cougars were healthy on offense, they would be the pick. They aren’t so they aren’t. UW 35-28. Last week: 3-3 overall, 3-3 vs. spread; Season: 61-22 overall, 43-33 vs. spread.
