IEL course helps transitions
The Community Colleges of Spokane’s Institute for Extended Learning has a new program for men and women who have lost jobs, are recently divorced or widowed or face other personal and professional transitions in their lives.
The program, Career Transitions, is a six-week course that focuses on life skills education, computer training, and English and math instruction.
The next session will be offered Jan. 4 through Feb. 10 and is held in the Institute for Extended Learning’s Magnuson Building, 2917 W. Fort George Wright Drive.
The course costs $300; financial assistance is available.
