Weather: A mild end to November

The Spokane area will see a mild start to the work week, followed by slightly cooler conditions headed into the weekend. Today’s high is expected to be near 45 with a light south wind, the National Weather Service said. Tonight’s low will be around 31. Tuesday will have a high near 46, with a chance of rain and snow Tuesday night as the snow level drops to 2,000 feet. The chance of precipitation is about 40 percent, and less than a half inch of snow is possible, forecasters say. Daytime highs the rest of the week are forecast to be near 39 Wednesday, near 40 Thursday and Friday, and near 38 Saturday and Sunday, under mostly dry skies.
