Beavers RB out for ASU game
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State freshman running back Malcolm Agnew will not play today at No. 25 Arizona State because of a sore right hamstring. Agnew has missed the last two games with the injury.
The running back, who after the opener looked like the heir apparent to Jacquizz Rodgers, was cleared to play earlier this week but then felt tightness in his hamstring during practice on Thursday. It was still sore on Friday.
Agnew rushed for 223 yards in his debut, the Beavers’ season-opening loss to Sacramento State. He pulled his hamstring three days later.
