Stuckart a problem-solver

I’m writing to encourage your support for Ben Stuckart for the position of City Council president.

Ben is a newcomer to the political scene in Spokane, yet he comes to the race with a lot of experience with people, business and energy in his back pocket.

I have known Ben for about 10 years, both on a personal and professional level. I am a licensed mental health counselor who works with low-income, mentally ill children and their families. As the director of Communities in Schools, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the dropout rate in Spokane, I have worked with Ben to solve real problems that impact families who need support to help their children stay in school. This has not only a personal, but financial impact on our community.

He is open to feedback, approaches problems with an eager ear to listen and then tries to bring different people together to find solutions.

In addition to his community-minded work, he has a background in business as the regional manager for Tickets West. Ben knows how to work with people and manage business as well. Our community would be lucky to have him working for us.
