Amy Rae Berger, pictured below, is the cousin of Air Force crewman Clifford Mast. Mast was shot down during the Korean War on July 4, 1952, and Berger says she has evidence that Mast was taken prisoner and that his capture was suppressed by the Air Force. This photo showing Mast in April 1952 at Fairchild Air Force Base is the last taken of him. Berger wears the POW/MIA bracelet in his honor.
Mast volunteered as the nose gunner on this RB-29 Superfortress on a mission code-named “So Tired” when it was shot down during the Korean War on July 4, 1952.
