Power restored in Spokane Valley
Power has been restored to an estimated 1,800 Avista customers in Spokane Valley.
According to Avista’s website, there are still a smattering of small outages in the area, including 120 near the Valley, 31 on the North Side and 123 around Hillyard.
At the height of the outage, more than 1,800 people near Spokane Valley were without power.

Thank goodness my power is still on, I’m in the GU District. Hopefully, power will be restored soon to those affected.

KREM 2 reported that “Officials confirm a transformer blew near Freya and Francis around 4 p.m. Tuesday.”

Look at the bright side—1800 customers will have a lower power bill this month. Possibly Avista selected them randomly for the savings!
