Don’t know if I’ve ever had a perfect week before. Did last week. Perfect overall. Perfect vs. the spread. Guess I’ll have to miss all five this week just to get back to even. As always, the listed line is for your entertainment purposes only. All games Saturday except those listed. California at Oregon (Oregon by 24), tonight: Isn’t this a lot of points, especially considering how well the Bears played against Oregon last season? This isn’t last season. Oregon, 54-24. Arizona at Oregon State (Arizona by 1.5): It seems the Beavers come up with a home upset every year. Don’t think this is it. Arizona, 35-24. Arizona State at Utah (Utah by 4): When are the Sun Devils’ injuries going to catch up with them? Next week. ASU, 35-24. Colorado at Stanford (Stanford by 29.5): More than a four-touchdown favorite still makes the Cardinal undervalued. Stanford, 42-10. Washington State at UCLA (UCLA by 3.5): How many Cougars can fit in the box? This isn’t a riddle. I really want to know how many defenders WSU will have to use to slow the Bruins running game. UCLA, 37-35. Last week: 5-0 overall, 5-0 vs. spread; Season: 35-7 overall, 22-13 vs. spread.
