In brief: Show features ceramic artists

 

ROSALIA – The Budding Rose Art Gallery Fall Festival Art and Pottery Show will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The festival will feature ceramic art from the Montana Archie Bray Foundation along with Pacific Northwest ceramists and artists, including Harold Balazs sculptures.

The Gallery is at 510 S. Whitman St.

Find books, DVDs at library sale

SPOKANE COUNTY – The Friends of the North Spokane County Library will hold the semi-annual used book sale on Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, at the North Spokane County Library, 44 E. Hawthorne Road.

Paperback books may be purchased for 50 cents and hardback books are on sale for $1. CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs and books on tape and CD are also for sale.

Crafts, collectibles at senior center

LINCOLN HEIGHTS – The Southside Senior Activity Center, 3151 E. 27th Ave., will host a Crafts and Collectibles Show on Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Oct. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The show will feature antiques, knitted scarves, jewelry and hand-crafted Christmas ornaments. Food will also be for sale, including homemade pastries by local grandmas.

Admission is $2 per person. Proceeds will help support the center.
