Montana 33, Idaho St. 0: Brody McKnight kicked four field goals to lead the 16th-ranked Grizzlies to a win over the Bengals on Saturday in Pocatello, Idaho.

Montana’s (4-2, 3-1 in conference) defense had seven takeaways, including four fumble recoveries, and held Idaho State (2-4, 1-3) to minus 26 yards rushing and 121 yards of total offense.

Montana St. 38, Portland St. 36: DeNarius McGhee passed for 255 yards and four touchdowns as the Bobcats held on for a victory over the host Vikings.

Portland State (3-2, 2-1) rallied from a 38-22 deficit in the final 7 minutes, but came up short on a two-point conversion with 2:52 remaining that could have forced overtime.

McGhee threw four TD passes for MSU (5-1, 3-0).

Sacramento St. 14, N. Colorado 0: Jeff Fleming ran for 59 yards and a touchdown as Hornets defeated the Bears in Greeley, Colo.

David Coleman scored on a 4-yard fumble recovery return for Sacramento State (3-3, 2-2). Sacramento State didn’t attempt a pass in the game. Northern Colorado (0-6, 0-4) was held to season-low 72 yards of total offense.
