Blaming the victim

The Sept. 27 “Hamas Sponsor of State Terrorism” cartoon is the pot calling the teacup black – as well as pure Israeli propaganda.

Palestine has suffered decades of illegal Israeli military occupation and stolen land – so determined and declared by a dozen or more U.N. resolutions – all ignored by the U.S. and Israel. Yet here you are, 45 years later, continuing to blame the victim, which has the legal and moral right to liberate itself by any means necessary.

Identifying the real terrorist is as simple as consulting entirely Israeli sources – directly from their own newspapers – with nothing but casualty counts. Since the 1960s, Palestinians have suffered more than 100 casualties (deaths and serious injuries) to every one for Israel. But that is not the sort of information likely to find its way into your newspaper.
