Sun should reappear during weekend

Clouds have returned to the Inland Northwest today, but forecasters are promising another round of sunshine starting this weekend. A weather disturbance is over the region today and it is bringing a risk of showers through this evening. Highs today should be in the middle to upper 50s. An area of higher air pressure is moving over the region, and should bring fair weather with it for the next several days, forecasters said. Mostly sunny skies are expected on Saturday through Monday with highs in the upper 50s. By Tuesday, the sun could warm temperatures into the lower 60s. Lows will start out in the 40s tonight, but dip to the middle and upper 30s through early next week. The mild weather is likely to continue through the middle of next week.
