SEATTLE — Cesar Delgado scored on a rebound in the 61st minute, giving CF Monterrey a 2-1 victory against the Seattle Sounders and the Group D title in CONCACAF Champions League play on Tuesday night. The Rayados finished with 12 points in group play to earn a quarterfinal berth. Monterrey rebounded from back-to-back losses to Seattle in late August and the Comunicaciones in mid-September that left it on the brink of not advancing. The Sounders, after winning their first three group games that virtually assured them of a quarterfinal spot, finished second with 10 points.
