Clouds bring chance of showers

The arrival of clouds over the Inland Northwest today is bringing a 20 percent chance of showers to the region. Showers will linger off and on across the region through this weekend. The high today should reach the upper 50s with a 20 percent chance of showers today and a 30 percent chance tonight. Lows will be in the lower 40s. Winds will be light. A series of weather disturbances and weather fronts are likely to move in from the Pacific Ocean through Monday at least, according to National Weather Service forecasters. High and low temperatures are expected to remain about the same until then. At 7 a.m., it was 46 at Spokane International Airport, 49 at Felts Field and 46 in Coeur d’Alene.
