Occupy is misguided

All those who have not done so need to rent and watch the classic movie “Dr. Zhivago.” As you watch the confusion and anarchy on Wall Street, compare it with the beginnings of the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia in 1917. It has always been thus, that some people are richer than others, and that the poorer, in many cases, burn with resentment that their station in life seems restricted by these same rich.

However, it is these rich who hire them and provide stability in their societies. Neither side is free from sin, but burning down the house to rid it of roaches seems a bridge too far, to mix metaphors.

The path to true “riches” is moral, ethical and satisfying. It is paved with good intentions, good education and good character. Littering public parks and streets, destroying local retail businesses, turning over Port-O-Potties and defecating on police cars, all to the rhythm of bongo drums, does not, alas, meet these criteria.

Wake up, those who sympathize with such tactics. Your house and lawn are next.
