Spokane woman dies in fiery crash in Adams County
A 20-year-old Spokane woman died today in a fiery crash along Interstate 90 in Adams County.
Ashley A. Cooper was headed east on I-90 in a 2004 sedan when she lost control and went into the median.
Washington State Patrol troopers said her vehicle rolled and caught fire about 6:15 a.m. She died at the scene 18 miles east of Ritzville. She was wearing a seat belt.
A passenger, Valentino R. Cipriano, 22, was injured. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Troopers were investigating the cause of the accident. No charges were filed.
