After last Thursday night’s Arizona win, we were on a 15-2 roll and getting a bit over-confident. Should have listened to that inner Hans Solo. You know, the voice that screams, “Great kid. Don’t get cocky.” As always, the listed line is for your entertainment purposes only. All games Saturday. Colorado at Arizona State (ASU by 31): One of these days the Buffs are going to cover. Win? Probably not. ASU, 35-10. California at UCLA (Cal by 5.5): The Bruins need to win. The Bears want to win. The Bruins don’t have enough players. That wins. Cal, 24-17. Oregon State at Utah (Utah by 5): If the Beavers that played last week show up, the Utes are in for a long day. Utah, 14-10. Arizona at Washington (Washington by 5): Nick Foles should throw for about a mile but it probably won’t be enough. UW, 49-42. Stanford at USC (Stanford by 7.5): This is tough, because I wonder how much of a grudge match it will be. I’m guessing there is still some residue from the “what’s your deal?” game. Stanford, 35-17. Washington State at Oregon (Oregon by 36.5): This is tough, mainly because we don’t know which Ducks will play. I’m guessing the stars rest. Oregon, 49-17. Last week: 4-2 overall, 3-3 vs. spread; Season: 48-11 overall, 34-18 vs. spread.
