Church Notes: Hamblen Park plans creation fair on Friday

Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church, 4102 S. Crestline St., will present an Intergenerational Creation Fair Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

“We are encouraging children and adults to bring in items that reflect God’s creation at work in their lives,” said Joe Bruce, director of children’s ministries at Hamblen.

The items exhibited may include painting, cooking, pottery, writings, carvings, Lego creations and more.

Harvest festivals

Audubon Park United Methodist Church, 3908 N. Driscoll Blvd., will present its annual Halloween Hullabaloo Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m.

The evening will include a costume contest, carnival games, crafts, candy and more.

Spokane First Church of the Nazarene, 9004 N. Country Homes Blvd., will present a Harvest Party on Halloween, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The evening will include inflatables, carnival games, candy, hot dogs, chili and chips.

Celtic service

St. David’s Episcopal Church, 7315 N. Wall St., will offer a Celtic Celebration today at 7 p.m.

The service will focus on personal spirituality and the season of winter. It will include communion, sung chants, Celtic prayers and music.
