Patch work in Opportunity

This photo of the 1908 pumpkin harvest in Opportunity, is courtesy of the Spokane Valley Heritage Museum which will present the seventh annual Heritage Program luncheon Nov. 12 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Opportunity Presbyterian Church, 202 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley. The program will be about historic cemeteries of Spokane County, presented by John Caskey. Cost is $20; $15 for seniors 62 and older. Proceeds will benefit the museum. The Spokane Valley Heritage Museum, 12114 E. Sprague Ave., is open Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $4 for students and $4 for children 18 and younger.
