Strasburg for fire commissioner

It’s refreshing to know a candidate for public office who has a lifetime of moral, honest behavior, attitude and experience in their field. I believe Bob Strasburg, running opposed for the first time for commissioner of Fire District 9, has those attributes, and more.

Bob has lots of experience in the firefighting field as a volunteer firefighter, as an EMT, and as a fire commissioner for a number of years already. During that period, he has been a good steward of the public’s money and trust and has helped protect the financial stability of Fire District 9.

He has been attending the meetings of the neighborhoods in the district and has participated in conversations with our legislators and attended trainings that his fellow union members attend.

He has lived in the north districts all his life, is a loyal and well-informed community member and cares about the financial and physical health of all those he serves and works with.

He’s the best choice in my book and deserves another term in office for being a good steward of the responsibilities he’s handled already.
