Seahawks end preseason play with win

Associated Press
SEATTLE — Thomas Clayton and Vai Taua had short touchdowns runs, Jeff Reed kicked a pair of field goals, and the Seattle Seahawks closed out the preseason with an uninspiring 20-3 victory over the Oakland Raiders on Friday night. Oakland rookie Terrelle Pryor stayed on the sideline with a clipboard in one hand charting plays and a ball tucked under his left arm, never getting to trade his baseball cap for his helmet. He’ll now be unable to practice or play for the Raiders for the next five weeks as part of the NFL-imposed suspension handed down when the former Ohio State quarterback entered the NFL supplemental draft. Seattle’s struggling offensive line finally provided some protection for quarterback Tarvaris Jackson and the Seahawks were able to score on two of their first three possessions.
