Boise wins to end Indians’ hopes

The Spokane Indians will play their final game of the Northwest League baseball season Saturday night at Avista Stadium.

First-half division winner Tri-City clinched the second-half title on Friday night and Boise’s victory over Vancouver on Saturday gave the Hawks the other playoff berth based on having the best overall record after Tri-City.

The Indians needed to win Saturday against Everett and have Boise to lose to clinch a berth.
