In brief: Ramada Inn robbery suspect sought

A robber who stole an undisclosed amount of money from a north Spokane motel early Monday is being sought.

The Spokane Police Department said the robber was described as a white male, about 6 feet tall with a medium or slender build, wearing a dark hoodie. He entered the Ramada Inn, 9600 N. Newport Highway, about 4:15 a.m., told the clerk he had a gun and demanded money, police said.

He reportedly fled north through the parking lot. A police dog was brought in to check the area but didn’t find the robber.
