Rescued brothers later drown

PORTLAND – Two brothers who drowned while swimming at Kelley Point Park at the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia rivers were rescued at the same spot nearly two months ago.

Portland fire officials say 24-year-old Kissan Kumar and his brother, 21-year-old Ram Kumar, drowned Monday. Divers recovered the bodies.
