Kevin Smathers doesn’t know how to properly investigate jack sheet - he’s about as useless as his dopey, arse-kissin, chubby little sidekick. Take a good look at the Whitley Fuel Depot fire investigation. Smothers picks out a suspect then forms the evidence to fit HIS suspect, disregarding other pertinent evidence if it points to anyone else!!! In a tightening budget it would be better for the taxpaying citizens to eliminate his position, because we are DEFINITELY not getting our money’s worth out of Kevin Smathers!!!!!

And what, exactly, does this rant have to do with this story?
