Sacramento State 42, Montana 28: Jeff Fleming passed for two touchdowns and ran for two scores to help the Hornets (2-2, 1-1) beat the visiting Grizzlies (2-2, 1-1) for the first time in 17 meetings.

Fleming, who was 18 of 27 for 224 yards passing, led Sac State to a 21-14 lead in the second quarter with 7- and 9-yard TD runs. The Hornets broke it open in the third quarter, as Markell Williams returned a blocked punt 30 yards for a TD and Sam McCowan had a 42-yard scoring run.

Dan Moore rushed for 41 yards and two TDs for UM.

After Montana got within 35-21 in the third quarter, Fleming guided a 14-play, 80-yard drive that took 8:50 and ended with a 37-yard TD pass to Brandyn Reed.

Weber State 45, Northern Colorado 21: Mike Hoke threw for five TDs, including three to Shaydon Kehano, and the Wildcats (2-2, 2-0) routed the winless Bears (0-2, 0-4) in Greeley, Colo.

Northern Arizona 20, Idaho State 3: Zach Bauman ran for 219 yards and a TD to help the Lumberjacks (2-2, 1-1) roll over the Bengals (2-2, 1-1) in Flagstaff, Ariz.

(20) TCU 55, Portland St. 13: The Horned Frogs (3-1) scored three TDs in a span of 1:18 just before halftime, two on passes by Casey Pachall, and Waymon James ran 65 yards for a score on the first play of the second half as TCU crushed the Vikings (2-1) in Fort Worth, Texas.
