BENEKE, Connie A.

Our beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, Connie (Sis) went to be with her Lord on March 30, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on March 1, 1961.
Sis loved all things outdoors and was most happy when she was working in the yard, second only to her talent for making all kinds of desserts.
Living the majority of her life in the Spokane Valley, she enjoyed meeting new people and was always interested in the well-being of others; especially those whose needs she felt exceeded her own.
She loved her Lord and was always up for a spiritual debate.
She is survived by her mother, Darlene Lyon; her daughter and granddaughter, Crystal Beneke and Ashland Moyles; her brother and his wife, Jerry and Kathie Lyon; her uncle and aunt, John and Sandy Hendry; her niece, Jaime Hopoi, and her nephews, Jeremy and Justin Lyon, as well as many cousins who she remained close to.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Lyon.
She is remembered as being a giving and caring soul whose time came too soon, but the Lord didn’t want to wait any longer.
We will miss you Sis, but looking forward to being with you in Heaven!
