Was born December 22,1940, in Almira, WA to Grason and Edith Payne.
He passed away on March 29, 2012, at Royal Park Care Center.
Monte worked a number of different jobs in his young adult life.
Due to health problems and a disability, he was forced to retire in the early 70’s.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charlie Payne, in childhood.
Monte is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Jerene; one brother, Giles (Karron) Payne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Monte truly enjoyed serving his Heavenly Father and God, Jehovah, and did his best to live his life as he knew he was being guided and directed and looked forward to the hoped resurrection.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Royal Park Care Center for the excellent care given Monte and Jerene which they expressed many times.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7th , 2012, at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 9622 N. Stevens St., Spokane, WA.
