Obituary: Day, Harry E.

DAY,
Harry E.

Passed away March 29, 2012 after a spirited battle with cancer, while being cared for in his home by friends.

Born in Frazee, MN, in 1929, a long time resident of Spokane who traveled extensively before settling here in 1965, Harry was a free spirit who lived life on his own terms.

He loved to invent and was the developer of the all purpose cleaner O So Quick, also know as Quick N Brite.

He was very proud of his inexpensive easy to build greenhouse that he came up with and gave out the plans for it freely, glad to help anyone who wanted to grow their own food.

He wanted to leave the world a better place for him being here.

He had a great sense of humor.

He loved to fish and especially enjoyed yard sales.

He is survived by his sister Betty Calvery, his daughter Diana Day and grandson Jacob Craft, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends who will miss him.

As per his wishes there will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life to be held at a future date.
