Joined her Lord and Savior on December 25th, 2011.
She was born on July 6th, 1928 to Nannie and Shanklin Engle in Belmont, Washington.
She was the seventh born of 11 siblings, all born “on the farm.”
She is survived by her daughter, Robin Easley; grandchildren Jamie and Joshua Burris, Michaela Easley, James Devens, and great-grandchildren, Colby Burris, and Jayda Berg.
Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edgar Easley, and son, Clifford Easley.
Ed and Betty were married on March 10th, 1950, and enjoyed 59 wonderful and adventurous years together.
Betty always put her family first, and taught us all the meaning of “unconditional love.”
She was an excellent homemaker and loved to cook.
Betty worked as an in-home caregiver for several years.
She enjoyed cooking enormous meals for family and friends, gardening, fishing, and most of all just spending time with her friends and family.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at Life Center North Church, 8303 N. Division, Spokane, on Saturday, April 14th, 2012, at 1:00 p.m.
