Water rescue teams have been called off after a report this morning of a man jumping from the Greene Street bridge over the Spokane River.

Witnesses said the man went under water around 10:15 a.m. Divers were deployed in city boats to look for him.

KREM-TV reports that officials said the man left clothing and a blank unemployment application on the bridge.
