Obituary: Richardson, Bonnie I.

(Age 88)

Entered peacefully into rest on April 8, 2012 following a short illness.

Bonnie was one of three children and was born on May 18, 1923 in Yellville, Arkansas to Calvin and Nellie Smith.

Bonnie fell in love and married Talmage Richardson who she happily shared 62 years with.

They had one son, Calvin Richardson DMD, who preceded them in death.
Bonnie was incredibly active and loved being involved with the Southside Senior and Community center.

She served as Membership Chairman on the Board of Directors, Teal Ladies, Volunteer Coordinator, quilting group, Care Bears, fundraising activities and received a Volunteer of the Year award.
Bonnie, also known as “Mema”, was preceded in death by her husband Talmage and brother Audie Smith.

She is survived by one brother, Billy Burns (wife Mollie); granddaughter Lynette Butterfield (husband Mike); great-grandchildren Matthew and Allison Butterfield of Spokane.

Additionally she is survived by daughter-in-law Connie Bush (husband Tom) of Spokane and their son Mike Bush (wife Dani,son Ryan) of Puyallup, WA.
Bonnie was a wonderful wife, grandmother, friend and person.

She will forever be remembered and missed by family, friends and all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 3:30 pm at Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church.

The family requests that if anyone wishes to, they may make a memorial donation in Bonnie’s name to the SouthSide Senior and Community Center or Hospice of Spokane.
