Benefit screening planned at bistro

NYne Bistro and Bar, 232 W. Sprague Ave., will screen “Miss Representation” on April 28 at 6 p.m. The film was written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom and examines the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America. The film includes stories from teenage girls and interviews with politicians, journalists, entertainers and activists.

The event will include a performance by the Desert Silk Dance Company.

Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the door. The film is rated TV-14.

All proceeds will benefit the Odyssey Youth Center.
