Of Medical Lake was taken from us unexpectedly on Friday the 13th, 2012.
He was surrounded by family and friends and background music of his favorite band, the Moody Blues.
Mike was born in Spokane on June 15, 1950 to Arnold and Margaret Drake.
He worked in the home healthcare field for over 30 years and was a champion for those who needed his strong representation.
Children and his many friends will always remember his unique ability to make people laugh and forget their problems.
Mike is survived by his wife and best friend of 25 years, Shannon; his beloved English; sister Sandy Drake Vicars (Byron); brother-in-law Kevin Svenson; nieces Amy and Stacey; nephew Ryan; cousins Connie and Caroline; wonderful friends Jim and Connie Bennett, Bonnie and Eppe Bosch, Carole Means, Mimi Wren and many more.
No services will be held as per his request, but there will be a celebration of his life in June.
