(Age 90)

Wilma was born July 5, 1921 in Willow Springs, MO to John and Margaret McCleerey.

She was raised in Smithland, IA.

She graduated from Smithland High School.

After grad-uating she traveled with friends and during WWII she worked in an airplane factory.

She later moved to Lusk, WY where she met and married her true love, Albert Hoy.

They were blessed with three daughters, Alice, Mary Frances and Julie.

Wilma loved to sew, crochet, cook, attend to her family and even though she would never admit it, pick up after Albert.

She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by husband, Albert; parents, John and Margaret McCleerey; brothers, Ralph, Floyd, Earl, and Owen; sister, Frances; and niece, Susan Paananan.

Wilma is survived by her three daughters, Alice (Richard Mewes), Mary Frances, and Julie; grandchildren, Felicia (Clem Hong)), Forrest (Stephen), Timothy, Debbie (Victor Battista), Stephanie (Jeffery); great-grandchildren Echo and Ikaika; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24 from 9:00AM - 5:00PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4305 N. DIVISION SPOKANE, WA 99207 .

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Central Baptist Church, 19 W. Shannon in Spokane beginning at 1:00PM followed by interment at Fairmount Memorial Park.
