Kardashian family isn’t going anywhere

From Wire Reports

The Kardashian family will continue living life on TV for the next three years.

The E! Entertainment network said Tuesday it had reached a deal with its most bankable franchise to make three more seasons of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Terms were not disclosed.

The sixth season of the show averaged 3 million viewers on Sunday nights, the cable network’s top series. The 18-episode seventh season begins on May 20.

E! said the entire family is covered by the deal: Kim, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian Odom, and Bruce, Kris, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. E! will continue to have the first crack at any spinoff projects. The network would not say whether musician Kanye West would be included in the series. West and Kim Kardashian have been seen together lately amid reports that they are a new couple.

Rocker to score ‘Lone Ranger’

Walt Disney Pictures has wrangled Jack White to compose the score for “The Lone Ranger.”

The studio announced Tuesday that the Grammy-winning rocker will write, produce and perform the score for director Gore Verbinski’s upcoming adaptation of “The Lone Ranger.”

“The Lone Ranger” will mark The White Stripes frontman’s first time scoring a feature film. The film stars Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as John Reid. It is set to debut May 31, 2013.

White’s first solo album, “Blunderbuss,” was released Tuesday. He previously wrote and performed the theme song to the 2008 James Bond film “Quantum of Solace” with Alicia Keys.

Cuban actors disappear in Miami

In a case of life imitating art, two Cuban actors have gone missing en route to their film’s premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Javier Nunez Florian and Analin de la Rua de la Torre disappeared in Miami during a layover last week. The film, “Una Noche,” premiered at Tribeca on Thursday.

Where the 20-year-old actors went remains unknown, but they are assumed to have defected. Written and directed by Lucy Mulloy, “Una Noche” is about teenagers struggling in poverty who decide to defect to the United States. De la Rua de la Torre and Nunez Florian play brother and sister in the film, which was shot in Cuba.
