Of Greenacres, WA passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012 in Menifee, CA with his loving wife and family by his side.

He was born on Monday, November 15, 1948 in Greenacres, WA to his mother and father Harvey and Berniece Duncan.

Doug retired from the Spokane Sheriff’s Department after more that 20 years of service.

Doug was a veteran and served in the United States Navy.

Doug loved all things sports.

From football to pickle ball and even played professional baseball with a New York Yankee minor league team in Boston.

He was passionate about his country, his Scottish Heritage and the WSU Cougars.
He is survived by Wife - Beth Duncan, Menifee, CA; Daughter - Lori Brittian, Spokane, WA; Stepdaughters - Bond Rask Aliso, Viejo, CA, Verity Gilmour, Aldi, VA; Stepson - Hollister Pojar, Menifee, CA;
Brother - Charles (Janet) Duncan, Sammamish, WA; Nephews - Scott Duncan - USMC and Tyler Duncan - USMC; Niece -Brooke Duncan; and three grandchildren.


A Celebration of Doug’s life will be held at his house on Saturday, April 28th for close family and Friends
Services will be at Pines Cemetery in Spokane Valley, WA., on Monday, April 30th at 11:00am
