ANDERSON, Ronald E.
(Age 80)

Passed away due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease on Sunday, April 22, 2012, in Spokane Valley, with his wife and sons by his side.

Ron was born January 10, 1932, to Louie and Nellie Anderson in Chewelah, WA.

Ron loved family gatherings, camping, and the family breakfast club every Wednesday morning.

Ron attended Springdale School where he enjoyed all sports and met his wife Norma.

Ron went into the Air Force in January 1951 and was honorably discharged in 1955.

In 1957 he started his career in the elevator industry, first as a constructor and concluding as an inspector, retiring in 1998.
Ron and Norma were married on August 4, 1956.

They were blessed with two sons, Steve, and Mark.

Ron will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Ron is survived by his wife, Norma; sister, Joyce Von Steuben; sons, Steve (Tami) Anderson, Mark Anderson, and Allen (Dena) Wingett; grandchildren, Steven, Scott and Chelsea Anderson, Taryn and Jess Wingett; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Laurie Ann; brother, Walter Anderson; sister, Ellen Buche; and his best four-legged friend, Michelle.

A celebration of his life will be scheduled later.
