CARR, Rickey

Rickey Allen Carr, age 60, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 25, 2012.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 26th at the Unity Center located at 4123 E. Lincoln Road in Spokane.

Memorials in his name can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Carr was born in Flint, Michigan on May 15, 1951 the son of Harry and Evelyn Carr.

He married Suzanne Hodge on October 1, 1968.

Mr. Carr worked as a mechanic and volunteer firefighter in Mt.

Morris Township for many years before moving to Spokane, Washington.

Mr. Carr worked as an apartment manager and then maintenance supervisor and was also a Sheriff’s SCOPE volunteer.

Surviving are wife Suzanne; daughter Kymberli with grandchildren Brandon and Ericka Duford; son Rickey Jr and wife Jennifer with grandchildren Rickey, Nikolas and Alexander Carr; son Jeremy and wife Danni with grandchildren Maleah and Jameson and Jaxson; daughter Jenne with grandchildren Sabrynna, Katrynna and Atreyu; brothers Harry Jr and Bill; Sister Sharon and husband Tom Bergstrom; along with many nephews and nieces too numerous to list.

Mr. Carr was preceded in death by his parents.
