Sherman Avenue Street Fair - Today-Sunday. More than 250 vendors with daily entertainment, food, fine art, crafts. Today-Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free shuttle bus between A Taste of the Coeur d’Alenes, Art on the Green and the Street Fair. Art on the Green - Today-Sunday. 44th annual celebration and marketplace of art, creativity and friendship. Hours are Today-Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Plenty of parking and shuttle bus service to the west side of the NIC campus from downtown is also available during the festival. Zimfest 2012 - Through Sunday. The Zimbabwean Music Festival is the largest annual four-day celebration of Zimbabwean music and culture in North America, featuring more than 100 workshops including many for children and teens. Free daily concerts featuring 16 groups, an African Marketplace, an authentic Zimbabwean meal and ticketed evening concerts will be available. Visit http://2012.zimfest.org for more information. Spokane Highland Games - Celebrates the traditions of Highland dance, bagpipe and drumming exhibitions and heavy athletic competitions. Children’s “Braveheart style” face painting and games from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. A Ceilidh (party) will be held after the closing ceremonies of the games from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Spokane County Fair and Expo Center, 404 N. Up on the Roof - A Taste of Unity - An evening to raise money for school supplies that are to be given away at Unity in the Community, the largest celebration of diversity in the area. Features a silent auction and raffle that showcases local artists, gift certificates, and gift baskets from many of your favorite local businesses. Camp Sweyolakan 90th Birthday - Celebration benefit evening, including a cruise on the lake, social, dinner, auction and raise the paddle. Finish with s’mores on the beach and a moonlight cruise home. Board at 2:30 p.m. on the east side of the resort boardwalk. There will be a Children’s Camp Party for children ages 4-18, of attendees.
