Food, fresh produce to be given out Friday
Millwood Presbyterian Church, 3223 N. Marguerite Road, and Second Harvest will hand out food in the church parking lot Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Free produce and perishable products for families in need of food assistance will be available and no appointment is necessary. Participants must be present to receive their food. Boxes will be needed to carry food.
Visitors are welcome to bring fruits and vegetables from their home gardens as part of the Plant a Row for the Hungry program. Donors will receive a reciept for tax purposes and the weight of their donation …
