By now, the name Nancy McLaughlin is likely familiar to you. Many of you know she’s serving her second term as a Spokane City councilwoman. Some of you know she’s currently running for state senator.
I know Nancy on a personal level, as a close friend of more than 30 years. We met in the church where she and I, along with our husbands, still attend. And I can attest to the fact that she’s genuine. Her public persona is not a separate entity from her personal life. For those of you, like me, who don’t believe that one’s private self doesn’t influence one’s public life, that’s important.
People who’ve met Nancy, or worked with her, are quick to say that she’s a good listener, easy to work with, trustworthy and dedicated to doing the right thing for her constituents. Even those who don’t share her political viewpoint speak highly of her.
If you haven’t yet cast your vote, I encourage you to take another look at Nancy McLaughlin (nancy4senate.com). Her experience as a leader in our community and ability to work well with others make her an excellent candidate for the job.
